Mountain Platter

In this scrap wood episode, I explore hand carving for the first time. It was unexpectingly a fun and relaxing project. This is the second part of my motivation recovery project.
The mountain platter was up for sale and, although, it’s already sold out, I’ll leave it here, in case you’d like to know more information about it:

Mountain Platter

A mountain shaped serving platter made out of solid wood by Cris

This hand carved serving platter, doubles as a decorative piece, measuring roughly 540 x 115 x 35 mm (21” x 4 1/2” x 1 3/8”)

It’s made out of hard maple offcuts and mahogany.

The piece is finished with a non-toxic food-safe finish that is perfectly suitable for food. To keep the finish intact, please avoid scratching the surface with knife blades and do not place burning hot kitchen cookware on top. It can be washed with water and mild dishsoap, but it’s best to dry it immediately with a towel.

There is only 1 unit available by the time this product is released.
