THE TINY APARTMENT SERIES
The Tiny Apartment is the channel's biggest project so far. It was completely custom-built - from floor to ceiling lamps - turning this 31 sqm (333 sqft) single-room apartment into a highly efficient living space. Consisting of 23 episodes available on YouTube with over 14 million views combined, this series lasted for four years.
Building furniture in a small space can be a BIG challenge. You have to think efficiently and it’s always better to plan the whole space ahead.

CRIS
I'm Cristiana Felgueiras, an artist and maker from Porto, Portugal, and I love building things!
As a kid, I experimented a lot with cardstock, wood, clay, and plaster to create mini sculptures and gifts for my loved ones. Music slipped into my heart so dramatically as a teenager that I learned to play several instruments.
The urge for artistic expression led me to study Fine Arts at the University of Porto, where I started mixing several media in my projects and installations. But my true passion for woodworking only began in my last year of studies, when I searched how to make a wood joint online.
A new obsession took my life by storm.
One day, I found myself explaining out loud, alone in my studio, what I was building. An exciting idea popped into my mind… What if I started filming my builds?
And that's when I created the GET HANDS DIRTY YouTube channel in 2015 to share my experiences and inspire others to build with their own hands.
